Welcome to the GRAND OPENING of Soznet.net's Lineage II Online Server Website. Please keep checking this site often as we will be adding lots of information
to the site and the actual game server we are going to host for Lineage II should be up very shortly, as like within the next 2 or 3 weeks.
UPDATE: It is now 10:00pm EST and we have the server up and running. Being that it is just gone up, we don't want to open the server to the public yet. What we
are interested in doing is offering beta test accounts to the first 5 to register in our forums and ask to be part of the Beta 1 test run. We will grant
5 beta test accounts to those who are interested. Of course it doesn't mean a free account to just play, you must be willing to help report bugs, or any weird instances
you may come across. You know the typical beta testing responsibilities.

What is a Linegae II Game Server?

Lineage II is a MMORPG similar to others like Everquest II, Dark Age of Camelot and World of Warcraft. It is an online game where 1000s of real
players can interact and work together solving quests or vanquishing vile monsters in a typical Dungeons & Dragons like fantasy setting.

What is the Lineage II server at Soznet.net about?

A group of Linegae II players got together and began work on a project to emulate the official Lineage II server. Basically a group of programmers
went out and created a near 100% complete and compatible version of the official servers hosted by the company that owns Lineage II. Similar emulated
servers have been around for Everquest, and Ultima Online for a long long time.

How much will it cost to play on Soznet.net?

To play Linegae II on the official servers a player must pay a monthly fee similar to many of the other MMORPGs. On Soznet.net we offer our game server
for free to any who wish to play here. In short there is no fee required to play on our emulated Lineage II server hosted on Soznet.net.

Is this the stolen official server hosted at Soznet.net?

In short NO! The server we are running is a legit emulated version of the official server. There is strong rumor that someone managed to hack in and steal
the official server owned by NCSoft. Running that server would be highly illegal as it truly is stolen intelectual property. The server we are running is
