Who/What are the Commodore Guys?
The "Commodore Guys" are two friends who grew up in the 80s and just happened to be lucky enough to experience the birth of the home computing craze. Back then it wasn't just PC and MAC, the Commodore systems ruled the day! Both John & Anthony were introduced to the famous Commodore 64 and it was the C64 that both spent the most time learning, playing, and just having fun with. The detailed history of how John & Anthony came into computers, their first encounters with the famed Commodore 64 home computer, and alas the story of how John & Anthony first crossed paths, are simply too much to write here. Perhaps we will write up a detailed personal history, but that is for another time.

So, what is this all about?
The Commodore Guys are two afficionados of a company that helped create the home computer revolution. As such, they are ardent collectors of all things Commodore computer related. John specializes in the 8-bit Commodore systems of the early to mid 80's, while Anthony's specialty is the later generation of Commodore computers called Amiga(s). Both John & Anthony have large collections of Commodore systems, hardware and software. This website is where John & Anthony can share their thoughts, their great collections, and their love of classic computing with other like minded individuals.

What is this "Commodore Guys" exhibit I've heard of?
To put it simply, it is a presentation of some of Commodore's most important and ground breaking computer systems, hardware and software. This is where John & Anthony showcase small parts of their collections for others to enjoy and learn from. The exhibit is not just some setup of some old Commodore computers, there is a brief history on each unit being showcased, and of course there are lots of games, demos, old Commodore TV commercials and much more that John & Anthony present. In the end for John & Anthony it allows them to show off their favorite systems to the masses who may remember them as much as the Commodoree Guys, or who have never heard of them, but are curious as to what part they played in the early years of the home computing craze. Finally, they also allow visitors to enjoy some of the many games that were released for the Commodore 8-bit and Amiga systems. All in all, it is an historical showcase of Commodore's ground breaking computers and an interactive exhibit where one can enjoy playing classic games, and other early software on computers that were way ahead of any Apple, or PC computer of that time. For a visible understanding, please visit the Commodore Guys photo album section of this site. There you can see their exhibit at past classic gaming, and computer shows.
